Fluxite and the Flux Emanator — the upgrade currency, farmed

Fluxite is one of the game's currencies: it unlocks upgrades for your inventory items — tools, weapons, drones. Gold buys research; Fluxite upgrades you. You will find it naturally underground, but only in small trace pockets (it digs easily at 3 HP), and trace pockets do not fund an upgrade tree. Production does.

The only machine that makes it

The Flux Emanator (Tier 5 research, 2000 Gold) is, in the wiki's words, the only way to create your own Fluxite. Its mechanism is stranger than a normal converter:

  • It consumes Voidbloom touching its top.
  • Fluxite spawns from its underside and grows outward in a circle, following the contours of surrounding walls, slowly inflating a ball of fluxite beneath the machine.

Plan the chamber before you place it. The process is slow, and — a warning straight from the wiki — an over-full fluxite ball with no room left to grow "will drastically impact performance." Give it a generous cavity, harvest it regularly, and your framerate will thank you.

The supply chain behind it

Voidbloom does not occur naturally in useful amounts either; you grow your way to it:

  1. Flowers (from the farming line — see the planter guide) drop Amethelis when harvested: each flower head holds 4 Amethelis and 1 Gold.
  2. Amethelis + Redsand → Voidbloom. One mechanical subtlety the wiki is explicit about: the two combine by falling onto each other — belts pushing them together side by side does nothing. Build the mixer as a drop shaft, not a merge lane. Redsand comes from digging Redsoil pockets at middle-to-lower depths — the wiki calls securing a redsand supply "a critical mission for any player."
  3. Voidbloom → Flux Emanator → Fluxite.

So the real inputs of fluxite are flowers and redsand, which means water, seeds and digging. The community-measured chart hosted on the official wiki puts the end-to-end ratio at 2 sand : 3 water : 4 redsand ending in 3 gold and 8 fluxite — redsand is the binding constraint, so scale your redsoil mining before you scale the emanator. A corollary from the same chart: exhausting the map's redsand leaves you with a large Amethelis surplus, which the Energy chain happily absorbs.

Voidbloom has one competing use worth knowing before you feed it all to the emanator: it also powers the Recall Portal (the Recall Shard teleport system). Budget accordingly.

Spelling, for the record

Search data says plenty of players type "fluxiter" or "flux eminator". The machine is the Flux Emanator, the material is Fluxite — now you know why your searches came up empty.
